Combining strong fundamentals in sculpting, anatomy, and texturing, I translated the iconic Pokémon Pignite from stylized 2D art into a striking realistic 3D interpretation. Sculpted in ZBrush with meticulous attention to form and musculature, then textured in Substance Painter to capture details like stitching and skin translucency through a hand edited subsurface scattering map. The sparse fur was groomed using a combination of manual techniques and geometry nodes. This piece showcases my ability to adapt beloved character designs into grounded, anatomically-convincing, 3D sculptures.
